From Northlands to Aucklands/Fumi pushing golf trolley on 90 mile beach.jpg

You always hear about people who walk amazing marathons and such like, but this bloke tops it all. Fumi (from Japan) decided to walk from the southern tip of New Zealand to the northern tip.... with a golf trolley. We met him when he only had 3 days to go and he had to walk up this beach called 90 mile beach. He had been through 5 trolleys by now, and this was his favourite one, he called it Super Kiwi. Most of the weight was taken up by his big 5 litre wine keg. Nice one. He was a really chilled nice bloke.

His next trip was going to be to cross Australian desert with Super Kiwi. You might well hear about a Japanese caracas being picked off by Kangaroos in the news soon.....
